Complete 9/11 Timeline

The Complete 9/11 Timeline is an extensive, searchable database that chronicles key events related to 9/11 by cataloguing thousands of mainstream news reports, government documents, and other publicly available records.

The timeline was created by several contributors, including Paul Thompson, whose 2004 book The Terror Timeline was based on this work. It was originally published at History Commons, a Wikipedia-like civic journalism project that hosted numerous investigative timelines.

After being offline for several years, the timeline has been restored and is now hosted by the International Center for 9/11 Justice. We are honored to help preserve this indispensable resource and make it available to the public once again.
