The International Center for 9/11 Justice

The International Center for 9/11 Justice is a nonprofit research and educational institute dedicated to establishing an accurate, evidence-based account of the events of September 11, 2001. The Center organizes, preserves, and disseminates the extensive body of 9/11 research developed over the past quarter century while conducting new multidisciplinary research into unresolved aspects of the attacks and their aftermath. It also supports legal and public education initiatives aimed at advancing truth, accountability, and informed public understanding of the events of September 11, 2001, and their far-reaching consequences.

Firefighters for 9/11 Truth

Firefighters for 9/11 Truth is an alliance of active and retired fire service professionals dedicated to advancing a new investigation into the destruction of the World Trade Center. Founded in 2008, the organization seeks to honor the 343 firefighters who lost their lives on September 11, 2001, by promoting public awareness of evidence it believes warrants renewed official scrutiny. Through firefighter outreach, public education, documentary films, technical resources, and engagement with elected officials, Firefighters for 9/11 Truth works to foster informed dialogue, support scientific and investigative inquiry, and advance truth, accountability, and public safety.

Contributing Authors

Ted Walter is executive director of the International Center for 9/11 Justice. He has been engaged in 9/11 research and public education since 2006 and, since 2015, has authored numerous articles, reports, and technical publications examining the events of September 11, 2001, including Beyond Misinformation: What Science Says About the Destruction of World Trade Center Buildings 1, 2, and 7; World Trade Center Physics: Why Constant Acceleration Disproves Progressive Collapse; and the 2020 Request for Correction seeking correction to the National Institute of Standards and Technology’s final report on the collapse of World Trade Center Building 7. He has also co-authored peer-reviewed research on the collapse of Building 7 and has overseen major research initiatives, including the University of Alaska Fairbanks computer modeling study of Building 7. He holds a Master of Public Policy from the University of California, Berkeley.

Dr. Piers Robinson is research director of the International Center for 9/11 Justice, co-editor of the Journal of 9/11 Studies, and principal author of the 2026 study “Manual or Automated? A Flight Simulation Study and Analysis of Reported Aircraft Maneuvers on September 11, 2001.” Previously, he held academic appointments at the University of Sheffield, the University of Manchester, and the University of Liverpool, specializing in political communication and international politics. Dr. Robinson is the author of The CNN Effect: The Myth of News, Foreign Policy and Intervention and lead author of Pockets of Resistance: British News Media, War and Theory in the 2003 Invasion of Iraq, as well as co-editor of the Routledge Handbook of Media, Conflict and Security. His research has been published in leading peer-reviewed journals in political science, communication, media studies, and peace research. He received his PhD from the University of Bristol.

Mick Harrison is a public interest attorney with more than three decades of experience litigating whistleblower, Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), government oversight, environmental protection, and False Claims Act cases. He previously served as co-director of the EPA Watch Program at the Government Accountability Project and, more recently, as litigation director for the Lawyers’ Committee for 9/11 Inquiry. Over the past decade, he has represented the Lawyers’ Committee, 9/11 family members, Ground Zero responders, 9/11 researcher David Cole, and Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth in federal litigation relating to the events of September 11, 2001. His work has included efforts to obtain government records through FOIA, compel federal agencies to carry out statutory duties related to 9/11 evidence, seek correction to the National Institute of Standards and Technology’s final report on the collapse of World Trade Center Building 7, and enforce the statutory requirement that evidence submitted by the Lawyers’ Committee be presented to a federal grand jury. He graduated summa cum laude from the University of the District of Columbia David A. Clarke School of Law.

Captain Raul Angulo is spokesperson for Firefighters for 9/11 Truth and a retired Seattle Fire Department captain, emergency medical technician, and veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard with more than four decades of experience in the fire service. During his career, he served on the Seattle Fire Department’s Hazardous Materials Unit, Wildland Firefighting Team, and FEMA/Puget Sound Urban Search and Rescue Team. Captain Angulo is the author of the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) textbook Engine Company Fireground Operations (4th ed.) and has written more than 400 articles for leading fire service publications, including Fire Engineering, Fire Apparatus and Emergency Equipment, Firehouse, and International Firefighter. In 2024, he authored the article “Did World Trade Center Building 7 Really Collapse Due to an Office Fuel Load Fire?” in the International Fire and Safety Journal. He serves on the editorial advisory board of Fire Apparatus and Emergency Equipment magazine.

Richard Gage, AIA, is a licensed architect who founded Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth in 2006 and has continued his research and educational work independently since 2021. Under his leadership, Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth grew to include more than 3,600 architects and engineers calling for a new investigation into the destruction of the World Trade Center buildings. As an architect, he worked on most types of building construction, including numerous fire-proofed, steel-framed buildings and a large mixed-use urban development comprising approximately 1.2 million square feet of retail, office, and parking facilities. He has delivered more than 1,000 public presentations worldwide on the technical evidence concerning the destruction of the World Trade Center and appeared in hundreds of television, radio, and podcast interviews. His extensive study of the scientific and engineering evidence has made him one of the most widely recognized public educators on the subject.

Allan Merrill is a retired research analyst, portfolio manager, and partner at one of the largest hedge funds in the world. His research into the events of September 11, 2001, has focused on the activities and movements of the alleged hijackers, government knowledge and facilitation of the alleged hijackers prior to the attacks, and evidence concerning whether and which of the alleged hijackers boarded the four airliners. He received a JD from Harvard Law School, an MBA from Harvard Business School, and was a Fulbright Scholar and a Rhodes Scholar finalist.

Jason Bermas is an independent researcher, documentary filmmaker, and broadcaster who has spent more than two decades investigating the events of September 11, 2001, and their aftermath. His films include Loose Change: Final Cut; Fabled Enemies; Invisible Empire; and Shade the Motion Picture. Since 2003, he has advocated for a new, independent investigation through documentary filmmaking, public speaking, and appearances across both mainstream and independent media. He has interviewed numerous eyewitnesses, whistleblowers, public officials, and researchers regarding the events of September 11, 2001, and has assembled an extensive archive of news and documentary footage as well as thousands of primary source documents.
