The International Center for 9/11 Justice is pleased to announce that the Debated Topics Forum has published a new paper by Xander Arena responding to an earlier paper by David Chandler and Wayne Coste that argued the impact damage to the wall of the Pentagon is consistent with a large plane.
The introduction to Arena’s paper reads:
“While describing exactly what may or may not have impacted the Pentagon’s E-Ring wall in 2001 may never be possible, this paper argues that the conclusions reached in “Large Plane Impact Damage to the Wall of the Pentagon and Adjacent Objects” (hereafter, LPI) are based upon selective use of evidence, are not internally consistent, and are ultimately not tenable in light of all available information. Alternative explanations for the damage require full consideration.”
We encourage readers to read both papers, and we hope you will find the exchange informative.
Per the guidelines of the Forum, Chandler and Coste will have three months to respond to Arena’s rebuttal.
The Forum also welcomes new submissions on the same subject. Any new submissions specifically on the impact damage to the Pentagon will be included under the same topic in the Forum, but they will not be a part of the ongoing thread between Chandler, Coste, and Arena.
As a publication intended to be a venue for constructive, evidence-based discussions about long-debated questions in the 9/11 research community, we also enthusiastically welcome submissions on other topics thought to be contentious or that have widely divergent viewpoints.
We are grateful to the authors for their participation and to readers everywhere for their interest in uncovering the truth about the events of September 11, 2001.
